Who is The Current Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education?
The current Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education is Mohammad Nasir. He was born in Kebumen, Central Java in 1952. He holds a degree from the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Gadjah Mada University, Indonesia, and a PhD from the University of New South Wales, Australia. He has served as a university professor and has written several books on science and mathematics.

Mohammad Nasir began his professional career in 1980 when he was appointed as a lecturer at Gadjah Mada University. He was then appointed as the Head of the Department of Physics in 1993. In 1996, he was appointed as the Rector of the University of Jenderal Soedirman in Purwokerto, Central Java, and held that position until 2000.
